ATLAS-C took to the skies in outback Queensland and completed its maiden flight.

Published October 01 2026 - There is something very special about seeing an aircraft you have spent so much time designing, engineering and testing actually leave the ground. But beyond that moment, the flight gave us something even more valuable: real data that validates the architecture behind ATLAS and gives us confidence in what comes next.
And the results were better than we expected.
Our post-flight analysis supports a modelled range of around 1,400 km, against our original 1,000 km design target. ATLAS also demonstrated passive stability without pilot intervention, completed its initial autonomous cruise mission, and achieved all of its engine performance targets.
For me, this is the part that matters most.
We didn't set out to build another aircraft. We set out to solve a very real problem.
Australia is an enormous country, and for many regional and remote communities, distance still has a huge impact on the cost and availability of essential goods. ATLAS is our answer to that challenge: a long-range aircraft designed to move freight where traditional logistics infrastructure becomes difficult or uneconomical.
Now we are moving from proving the technology to scaling it.
Our next step is the production of 3 MVPs and our first commercial aircraft, taking us toward BVLOS operations and our first Australia Post routes. We are now actively raising institutional funding, targeting a close in December 2026 and simultaneously gearing up for Series A as we continue building relationships with commercialisation partners across freight, logistics and regional operations.
There is still a lot of work ahead, but this is an important point in the journey.
ATLAS is being designed, engineered and manufactured here in Australia. Our ambition has always been bigger than building an aircraft. It is about creating capability here, solving a problem that has been with us for generations, and showing what Australian engineering and innovation can achieve.
Thank you for your continued support and for backing our vision. We are just getting started — please feel free to reach out if you would like to join us on this mission.
