MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – November 25, 2025 – GAP Drone, in partnership with Australia Post and RMIT University, today marked a significant milestone with the public display of the core hardware for its revolutionary long-range drone freight system. This purpose-built, heavy-duty equipment is now being mobilised for deployment in the Australian outback.

The hardware represents the foundational element of the ATLAS modular drone platform, which is engineered to establish a new world of airfreight connectivity across remote Australia. The fully integrated and assembled ATLAS system is scheduled to follow in the coming week.

This deployment reinforces the commitment of GAP Drone and its partners to pioneering record-breaking innovation in logistics. The collaboration is focused on transforming critical supply chains and improving connectivity for regional and remote communities.

The company leadership stated: "Our mission is clear. We are carrying this vision forward, driven by perseverance and a belief in creating sovereign Australian solutions that will ultimately earn wide recognition for their impact."
